My Fall Reading List | Blogtober #16

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

The title should actually be named "Madeline Actually Finish Reading These Books" because most of these books, I have actually started to read. I just never finished them and I think October is the perfect month to finish reading these books. I just want to curl up on my bed on a chilly October evening and just read books that I wanted to finish. I could just see it now.

Here are the books on my fall reading list:

"#Girl Boss" by Sophia Amoruso

I love the vibe that this book gives off. I love reading books that make me feel powerful and confident in my life and future ventures. I'm halfway through this book and so far it makes me want to create a business out of my bedroom so bad. She makes it seem so easy, but I know it wasn't easy. I love learning about Sophia and what she came to be. I'm really excited to finish this book.

"Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert

When I started to read this book, I felt like I can take on the world. I felt like I can do anything and everything if I put my mind to it. I'm also halfway through this book and I'm really excited to see what else Elizabeth can teach me. I love her style of writing and I love how she puts personal stories to try to convey her message and give examples. Plus, the cover is so pretty to look at. I could stare at it all day if I wanted too.

"The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way To Live Well" by Meik Wiking

I've seen this book circulating around the blogosphere a year or so ago and I've always wanted to read it. I'm always fascinated about how other people live their lives. This book is all about how the Danish people live their lives and they are some of the happiest people on the planet. I recently bought this book and it's so cute and small and I just want to carry it everywhere.

"Not Afraid Of The Fall: 114 Days Through 38 Cities In 15 Countries" by Kyle James

I was walking in Barnes and Noble a couple of weeks ago and this book caught my eye. It was in the travel section and I read the back cover and I fell in love with it. This book is all about the author's journey throughout the world. I flipped through it and it's formatted almost like a diary and I love how I can see where he was, when it was, and what time it was at that specific location. I'm really really excited to read this because I am wanderlusting so hard right now that it's not even funny.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in the next post!
